Quality horse boarding is difficult to find.
Ask anyone who really loves their horse and they’ll tell you, when it comes to agistment, it’s not just about a paddock or a stable – it’s also about the care and community that come with the agistment that is equally important.
That’s where we come in.
Manna Park Agistment Centre is situated in a quiet rural setting just 25 minutes from Canberra CBD, 15 minutes from Canberra Showground, and 5 minutes from Bungendore Village.
Created in consultation with equestrian and small-acreage horse farm expert, Jane Myers, Manna Park Agistment Centre provides a comfortable, safe, and idyllic environment for our equine residents and their owners.
All horses are treated with the utmost care
We offer a range of quality services and facilities to agist, ride, train, and care for your horse. Additionally, our 52 beautiful acres have easy access to more than 30 kilometers of greenways that meander through Bywong and Wamboin – just ride out the front gate and turn left.
Our idyllic, tranquil setting provides the perfect environment for your horse to relax, and gives them the opportunity to socialise and thrive in a safe environment.
All horses are treated with the utmost care and concern for their well being. Horses are fed hard feeds twice daily, with their diets adjusted, in consultation with their owners, and monitored to ensure optimum health.
While a full size dressage arena dominates the area in front of the stable complex, Manna Park Agistment Centre remains a multi-discipline horse property. We encourage our agistees to be actively involved in their individual equine pursuits, no matter what kind of saddle they ride in. We don’t offer “horse storage” at Manna Park Agistment Centre. We offer committed equine people a place to continue their passion.
As a horse owner and rider for over 40 years, Mark (and his husband Geoff) have lived at Manna Park for 20+ years. A lifelong passion for horses means that Mark has access to a deep well of knowledge and experience to ensure that all the horses on the property only receive the very best care and attention.
Mark currently has two horses – father and son Clydesdale x Andalusians – in dressage training and is looking forward to competing with them both in the near future.
When not spending time with his horses Mark enjoys maintaining the property and spending time at home.
While Geoff has only been riding for the past 4 years, he has been an enthusiastic supporter of Manna Park from the outset and has spent the other 17 years of his time at Manna Park helping with Mark’s horses. He’s also the admin-guy and enjoys making sure that everything is running smoothly and kept up to date.
When not riding his own horse, Geoff helps Mark in the stables – but he can also be found cooking up a storm (some of which ends up on the table in the stable kitchen). Geoff also loves spending time looking after their dog and two cats, chatting to people at the stables, and dreaming about holidays.
